Nicholas R. Odorisio
April 12, 1938 ~ July 27, 2023 (age 85)

NICHOLAS ROCCO ODORISIO, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023 in West Chester.

Born in West Chester, PA and raised in Kennett Square, PA, he was the son of deceased Nicholas Odorisio and Delores DiGuiseppe and foster father, Pompeo DiGuiseppe. He is predeceased by his wife Christine, brother, Anthony and sisters, Lucy Lafferty, Marie Bonifacino and Lorraine Moulder.

He is survived by sons Nicholas, Jr., Mark (Kelly), Vincent; grandsons Mark, Jr. (Liz), Andrew (Lauren), and Keaton; granddaughter Kylie; great-grandsons, Nathanial, and Niko. As well as a sister, Francis Brittingham, and many nephews and nieces.

He attended Kennett High School and was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Kennett Square, PA. While in school he participated in the Dancing Club, Field and Stream, Boys’ Sports and Gym Leaders.

After graduating in 1956, he enrolled in the U.S. Army and after discharge in 1964, was employed by Pepperidge Farm Frozen Foods in Downingtown, PA as a Maintenance Leader. He also served on the Board of the Italian American Club. He enjoyed cooking, hunting, fishing, boating, and casinos. He loved spending time with family, sharing stories, and watching the Philadelphia Phillies and the Eagles.

Friends and colleagues are invited to his visitation, Saturday August 5, 2023 from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home 410 N Church Street, West Chester, PA 19380. A funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 am at St. Patrick’s Church 212 Meredith Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348. Following Mass, we will proceed to St. Patrick’s cemetery, 460 North Union Street, Kennett Square, PA for interment.
